Sarah Lewis LLB

Sarah Lewis studied law at Swansea University and undertook her post graduate qualifications at the University of Glamorgan, joining the firm in 1998 where she undertook her training under the guidance and supervision of the senior partners Philip Avery and Katrina Cartwright-Harwood. Whilst at University Sarah was awarded prizes for the best first year law student and best second year law student. Sarah became a partner in October 2005 and undertakes all conveyancing work along with supervising and the training of her staff. Sarah hails from Llanelli and still resides in the town.

Mike Whiffin
Mike joined the company in 2002 as Office Manager/Accountant. He has worked in the finance sector for many years, both public and private. An active member of his local Church, where he plays a valuable role fundraising through various events.


Jamie Frost
Jamie joined the firm in 2006 following the completion of his law degree and post graduate qualifications. He is currently assisting the partners with all conveyancing transactions whilst gaining valuable personal experience and knowledge. He enjoys all types of sport in particular rugby, which he played at a semi professional level before joining the legal profession.

Michelle Hollow
Michelle is a legal assistant at Philip Avery & Co having first joined the firm in 2001 as a receptionist. Michelle progressed to her current role and is an integral member of the team providing assistance to the partners in the many varied aspects of conveyancing

Charlene Clacy

Charlene studied law at the University of Glamorgan and joined Philip Avery after successfully gaining her degree and post graduate qualifications. Charlene is a Trainee solicitor at the firm working in both the Conveyancing and Litigation departments.

Outside work Charlene enjoys singing and socialising with friends. Charlene has recently organised and taken part in many charity events to raise money for a trip to India to take part in the Habitat for Humanity- Jimmy Carter Work Project 2006 to help build a house for a family in need and to try and eliminate poverty around the world.

Kirsty Smith
Kirsty is our part time receptionist while she is currently undertaking an LLM course in International Commercial and Maritime Law at Swansea University. Out of work she is a professional performer of keyboard, piano and organ and enjoys performing at various concerts throughout the year.
